1 film has come to compete with 'Pathan' at the box office, there will be tremendous competition, headlines before release

Delhi. These days there is discussion of only one film at the Indian box office, namely 'Pathan'. Yes, through this film, Bollywood's 'Badshah' Shahrukh Khan has made a grand comeback on the big screen after 4 years

At the same time, another film is going to be released at the box office on February 3 to compete with 'Pathan', named 'Daman'.

Panorama Studios and Jaypee Motion Pictures are going to release the Hindi version of an Oriya film 'Daman' in cinema halls across the country. Written and directed by Vishal Maurya and Debi Prasad Lenka, the film was released in Odisha on November 4 last year, which was tax free across the state and is still running successfully in Odisha. The trailer of the Hindi version was released by Ajay Devgan a day before Makar Sankranti.

On the other hand, in a special conversation with News18 Hindi, the film's lead actor Babushan Mohanty told that he is very excited about this film. He said that the film got a lot of love in Odisha and more than that he is happy that the film is being released across the country. What was the reason behind releasing it in Hindi version? On this question, Babushan said that this is a social film, and has been made on a very serious issue, which should be seen by everyone and with this thinking, the Hindi version of this film is being released across the country.

He told that 'Daman' is based on a true incident, in which he plays a 'Dr. Siddhartha Mohanty', a Bhubaneswar MBBS graduate from a government college, who is posted in a remote tribal area of the state's Malkangiri district. How he leads the malaria eradication campaign in 151 villages of Janbai PHC despite many obstacles is a touching story of the film.

Babushan Mohanty told that he had to face a lot of problems during the shooting of this film. He told that the shooting was done at such places where there were no roads, so he used to travel by mule. Along with this, the entire area was a Naxalite belt, so the outbreak of mosquitoes was also very high. By the way, Babushan Mohanty has high hopes that people will like his film very much. Along with this, he said that the poster of his film was attached with the film 'Pathan', seeing which he was shocked.
